Philosophy
Established in the Vail Valley in 1976.
We have a clean, fully equipped, state of the art wood shop and art studio in Eagle for structural repairs of furniture, collectibles and art but we also offer field work on-site to allow for the fewest inconveniences possible for our clients.
The thing we pride ourselves in is the preparation before we start our procedures. We protect floors and carpets, we know the value of the pieces through education. We make sure we photograph the location of the pieces in the floor plan before they are removed, so that they can be replaced precisely where they were prior to restoration work. Everyone gets the class-A treatment, whether it’s a home in Mountainstar or my next door neighbor.

About Victor
After nearly four decades in the valley with an initial focus on upscale interior trim, custom furniture and cabinet building I eventually turned my attention and efforts to high end repair, rejuvenation and restoration of antiques, art and interior woodwork.
Victor began his training at the age of 16, mentored by a New Jersey entrepreneur named Fred Smith, whose business it was to restore 300 year old homes to historical perfection. That’s where I learned my formulas for restoration as well as the ability to recognize antiques, their periods, provenance and value. Read more about Victor in this reprint of a Vail Daily Article.
When Victor’s not in the Woodworking Shop, he’s enjoying his favorite pastime, golf. You’ll find him on the links soaking up the sunshine.
